Clouds
One of the reasons I love where I live is how fast and easy it is to get downtown. That’s because there are streets that run parallel to the Delaware River — and, not incidentally, to I-95, which is the city’s spinal column. I rarely use it for short hops now, because I never have to deal with traffic jams on the side streets. Here’s a view of the Ben Franklin bridge from Delaware Avenue, or whatever we’re calling it this week. Incidentally, that white truck over to the side? That’s Mambo Movers, the people who moved me here.

Pickup line
I went to the convenience store to get a few things (but mostly I had cabin fever and needed to get out) and when I came out, I saw this fabulous red Ford pickup truck. “Can I take your picture?” I asked him.
“If I only had a dollar for every time someone took this truck’s picture…” he said.
Smoke
I saw this big plume of smoke when I was driving home from Trader Joe’s today. It was at Hancock and Girard, and it was snarling traffic big time.
