Only Irish by marriage, but I’ve eaten it many times in Dublin. the corned beef is hot salted silverside carved from a joint, not something you get out of a can. And it’s delicious.
Yep. Always stay out of the bars on St. Patrick’s day and New Year’s Eve. And no corned beef is not Irish. Bacon (Ham) and cabbage is with boiled new potatoes.
I don’t care if it’s Irish (I am). It’s delicious, and I’m making it for friends with soda bread. Yum.
