Ratio in 1790 between the size of the largest state (Virginia) and the smallest (Delaware): 12.6 to 1.
Ratio in 2009 (estimate) between the size of the largest state (California) and the smallest (Wyoming): 67.9 to 1.
The killer is that there is no way to change this spectacularly flawed system. The states that benefit from it will never give up their undeserved power.
