Today I made oatmeal for the first time in many months, because my body told me that it was now fall.
I made the old fashioned stuff (steel-cut) the old fashioned way (slowly simmered on the stove top), and made a quadruple portion so that I could save some for warming up some other day without having to spend 45 minutes doing it from scratch.
i prefer life cereal myself.
