  1. The geological record is shot through with ample evidence of climate change across hundreds of millions of years. Also geomagnetic reversals. Change happens. It’s nothing new. Humans burning every drop of oil and whiff of natural gas and lump of coal as soon as they extract them from the ground certainly isn’t helping matters. I suppose when the fossil fuels run out we can blame change on God or field mice or space aliens. Change happens and it scares humans and they try to explain it and arrogantly think they have the power to effect these Earth processes. When we stop burning oil and coal and natural gas, the problem will be solved. [We have met the problem and it is us.]
