The DINOs (Evan Bayh and Kent Conrad — I know, you’re as surprised as me!) and Republicans have started their “Owe No” campaign to cut Social Security, and we have to fight back. You should sign this petition (because hey, nothing scares fat cat Congressmen like online petitions from a bunch of hippies, right?) but most importantly, CALL YOUR CONGRESS CRITTERS TODAY. Even better, write them letters.
Tell them you want them to raise the income cap on Social Security instead of cutting our benefits.
Don’t fall for the “we’re living longer” line. Rich people with good insurance are living longer; we’re not. Remember that.
