Yep. I’m amazed at what constitutes a news cycle. The Gulf is still news. Thankfully some media outlets are still reporting, but as you indicate, the news is not good. As for the rest – dear heavens, banish the thought. That is *so* not your tune.

I wish I had some good advice. I came across an article the other day about this being the 25th anniversary of the Challenger explosion. It came up in my mind just how unrelentingly brutal these last 25 have years have been. The Gulf War, Waco, 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, Deepwater Horizon, etc., etc.. Where is there a sign of anything changing?
