I hate these people

Honestly, I don’t even know what to write about anymore because the inmates are running the asylums — not just in D.C. but in the states and the media. I don’t even know where to begin.

And it’s the same story, over and over and over. Lying cheating bastards who pretend they’re something else until they get elected, and by then it’s too late. Democracy!

  1. You’re seeing the result of the corporate assault of public education and knowledge (promoted and abetted by their fellow conservative, rethuglican and libertarian co-conspirators). Americans have generally lost any critical thinking skills. They vote for representatives the way they buy bread. And when the bread turns out to be moldy, they blame that loaf, not the people who sold it to them.

  2. Ron is right on the money. These people don’t “run for office” anymore. They buy seats in Congress with someone else’s money. They are not legislators or statesmen, just front men for corporate interests. They should be on the corporation’s payroll, not the government’s.
