This is Matt Sevier, the local singer-songwriter I’m going to be helping with booking. Matt had quite the career going about ten years ago – lots of radio play (if you’re from Philly, you probably heard “Marry Katherine”), development deal with Sony, etc. But life got in the way.
Anyway, he’s really good and he’s edging back into the solo scene. Check out “King Rut” and “Beware”. He’s also playing at the World Cafe next Friday night with Countdown to Ecstasy, a Steely Dan tribute band.
