Heat index will be 107. I really can’t stand this, even with the air-conditioner. Everyone else is cranky, too.
They assigned cops to all the city pools because so many people want to get in, they have to admit them in shifts.

Hey, at least you have municipal pools that don’t require a seasonal membership, some place to swim when it’s hot without costing an arm and a leg.
The city was going to shut them, but they strong-armed local businesses to cough up enough cash to keep them open.
