  1. It seems to me that “austerity” is actually the opposite of “prosperity”. Have we given up the hope and promises that things will get better for us to have bigger lives, and exchanged this for the demand that we make things worse just to be allowed to survive?

    No wonder the streets are full of revolt.

  2. If we follow the commandments and cut… “We” is the key word. Everything we sacrifice is transformed into more wealth for the pigs who preach austerity.

  3. Combining these first two comments:
    What we really need is austerity for the rich, and prosperity for the rest of us.
