I’ve often wondered how the repubs would have framed the global warming issue if it were THEIR cause…
In any case, it should be rebranded as really f*cked up weather, which sounds less benign than global warming or even climate chance.
You know those heavy snows you had only months ago? You’re gonna’ have ’em again – The North Atlantic conveyor has collapsed. Simple cause and effect: icecube four times the size of Manhattan breaks off of Greenland glacier and melts, dumping super heavy super cold water into the North Atlantic. It has happened before, we can read it in the record.
Well, the paving and building subdivisions and strip malls on former forests, fields, prairies and wetlands doesn’t help, either.
The climate in the northeastern USA! is supposed to become wetter.

Will we now be in a Temperate Rain Forest climate without the trees? Wikipedia says “Temperate rain forests in the eastern USA are limited to areas in the southern Appalachian Mountains where orographic precipitation causes weather systems coming from the west and from the Gulf of Mexico to drop more precipitation than in surrounding areas…” Hmmm, we better get ready to experience climate similar to states far south of us, methinks…
