What’s so freakin’ good about it?
Well, for one thing, Mayor Bloomberg called off the dogs, maybe because of the more than 300,000 people who signed a petition asking him not to push out the occupiers of Zuccotti Park.

Back in the day, when we were occupying the student union after Nixon invaded Cambodia, the authorities waited a bit over a week (iirc) and then eventually retook the building about 3:30 in the morning.
A tactic which has been used in other cities. No announcements. That’s probably what’s in store for Zuccotti Park — especiallyif the numbers staying overnight begin to go down.
I’d suggest night watches for the OWS people. Probably with watchers spread out from the park as well, ready to call in warnings.
(Would Bloomberg have cell phone networks cut to pull off a more secretive invasion of the park? Inquiring minds need to know!)
