Are you kidding? What’s the difference at this point? The jerk we elected turned out to be Bush III and worse wrt human rights, transparent government, and the whole prison/debt slave USA thing going on – not to mention being a real stand-up guy for the environment. Our next election in 2012 will be a complete non-event: pick which Republican (including Obama) you want to continue leading us down the primrose path to oblivion.
It won’t matter any way – before long the whole thing is going to collapse. We’ve painted ourselves into a corner as a species and there’s no way out.
