Yeah and what’s worse is all those wasted lives (dying for a mistake) and that the billions (if not trillions) of dollars could have been used to help the unemployed, education, infrastructure repair and projects, medical and mental health research, environmental clean-up, investment in alternative energy, and on and on. War is not the answer. When are we going to learn?
When you encounter someone that advocates staying in Afganistan, ask them whether the US should have stayed in Vietnam.
Amazingly, there are still conservitards that say that getting out of VN was a big mistake.
