Aaaah, bejabbers begorrah, it takes a sensitive Oirish poet to sit in the new Yankee Stadium and observantly wax poetic about the poetry of it all, failing to observe that this may be the most blatantly overcommercialized gathering place in the world, displacing civic parkland and built with many hundreds of millions of unrepaid public money, and exhorting people to travel to a gambling casino and piss their hard earned money away, because, like baseball, gambling gives them hope.
