  1. It’s always the fringe fanatics in all religions who take literal meaning from their particular “good book” that makes the world a more dangerous place, always has been and probably will remain so until the end of time. That’s why I don’t subscibe to “Religion” per se, but I remain “Spirtual” so I don’t mistreat any of God’s creatures, especially children and adorable puppies. 🙂

  2. There is nothing wrong with either religion or politics. If they are not organized. Once religion and politics become hierarchical with a leader at the top they become corrupted and useless. Which is why Capitalism is the worst economic system ever invented by mankind.

  3. Here is the reason for the right wing repudiation of critical thinking skills in public education. God forbid that a child should learn that there is a civil authority that prosecutes child abuse. A home schooled student has no need to know that coops are for chickens or that the cruelty of shock colors is visited only on misfortunate animals. Outcome based education is from Satan and “bad touch” is a plot to steal Christian kids from loving parents. This poor kid has been through hell and I have grave concern about the pretrial release of these monsters.
