  1. I still have a dulcimer I bought in such admiration. …when I came of the age my Mom let me go to concerts, I saw her at the Syria Mosque, (I think (my ‘spirit’ has been near fractured) it was a For the Roses Concert) in Pittsburgh PA.

    At the time, the words Syria Mosque were just a matter of phonetics, that painful history of the Mid East was never broached in skool

    He talks to the land
    And the leaves fall
    And the pond over-ices
    She don’t know the system, plus
    She don’t understand
    She’s got all the wrong fuses and splices
    She’s not going to fix it up to easy

    It’s a time when so many of us have become horridly aware of the human salt water content.
