Hell, until Barbara Walters came along on the ‘Today’ Show, women weren’t considered credible ‘hard’ news reporters anyway. If they didn’t do fluff stories or the weather they weren’t on camera, period. Besides, I for one am not interested in ‘special effects’ eye candy to get the ‘news’ of the day. In fact, it’s not even ‘news’ anymore. What’s the word? Infotainment, and none of them really do a very good job of that either.
