  1. Since when is bullshit not considered to be a lie? Romney’s statement is unadulterated bullshit having no basis in fact. But it is a great “fear” motivator.

  2. I’m totally shocked and amazed really, Suze, that you believe any fucking thing that comes out of Romney’s pie hole. To support the thugs talking points—–knowing full well that Romney presided over one of the highest unemployment rates in the country as top dog in Mass—-really is dissapointing.

Of course we are not where we need to be as a country, but I think our president has a jobs bill sitting somewhere in the rethug House that has never been enacted. WTF did you, of all people, think Romney would say, “Geez, isn’t it great we’re seeing the country begin to move forward?” He’s the biggest bullshitter, and you’ve blindly agreed with him. Pity.

  3. “If I’m elected, we will have a real recovery with pro-growth policies that will create 12 million new jobs and rising incomes for everyone.”

Sure sounds like lying to me.

  4. In this case, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Romney’s figures are correct. Only the most koolaid-drunk Obot could fail to recognize that.

And for my family, this is up close and personal. My son’s job cut his already meager part time hours to the point where he can’t afford his apartment so he lost his home and has just been approved for food stamps. He wants to work full time but literally can’t find employment in this economy. He’s now bouncing between living with friends and at my house while continuing to look for work – joining millions of others in the same situation.

  5. Liberal blogs are not supposed to be fact free zones. The facts are that the structural break even number for job creation is 125,000 per month to make space for net growth in the labor force. New job numbers were under that target. The drop that put the unemployment number down three tenths of a percent was the arbitrary reclassification of a bunch of workers as no longer looking (a statistical blame the victim fix). So what part of “this is not what a recovery looks like” is false?
