Interesting that Grayson is doing so well. He’s in a different district that, on paper, looks even harder for a Democrat. Grayson’s old district (suburban Orlando) as a Cook PVI score of R+2. This one, in suburban Tampa / St. Pete, has a Cook PVI score of R+6. On the other hand, he probably doesn’t have every GOP PAC in the country gunning for him, as he did in 2010, when he lost to Webster. He attracted the GOP’s hatred by his clever slogan about “the GOP Health Care Plan: (1) Don’t get sick; (2) Die quickly.
