The Evangelicals have been around since the 1700’s. The Roman Catholics took an anti-abortion stance in the 1800’s. After the 1973 Roe v. Wade, descision the Catholics and Evangelicals fused and became the Religious Right. They got Reagan elected in 1980. But the Zionists have used the Religious Right politically in the same way that the Republican Party has. The Religious Right strongly supports the Zionists and Israel because “God tells them to.” There are lots of people playing games with the Religious Right and none of them have clean hands.
