Some rather pointed signs targeting Rep. Mike “My favorite people are lobbyists” Fitzpatrick went up on I-95 this weekend:

BUCKS COUNTY – With the election less than a day away, concerned constituents gathered at various overpasses in Bucks County this morning to hang banners highlighting Rep. Fitzpatrick’s support of drastic cuts contained in the Ryan budget. Over the last year, PA Working Families has called on Rep. Fitzpatrick to reject the Ryan Budget, which would turn Medicare into a voucher program and make severe cuts to vital programs like FEMA, veteran’s benefits and Pell Grants.

“Rep. Fitzpatrick claims that he is a moderate but he voted for the drastic Ryan budget twice. Rep. Fitzpatrick’s signs and advertisements talk about saving Medicare, yet he voted to turn it into a voucher program. Voters deserve to know where he really stands on the issues,” said Mary Downing of Warminster.

The following banners were hung:

STOP MEDICARE VOUCHERS. FIRE FITZPATRICK (Stoney Hill Rd. I-95)
FITZPATRICK VOTED TO CUT VETERANS BENEFITS (Trenton Rd. I-95)
FITZPATRICK VOTED TO CUT FEMA (Durham Rd. I-95)
FITZPATRICK VOTED TO CUT DISASTER RELIEF (Galloway Rd. PA Turnpike)

  1. Voting a straight Democratic ticket would help to eliminate all of these 1% punks. We know where every elected Republican stands when it comes to supporting the existing oligarchy. Show’em all the exit.

  2. If only there were a way to unseat lying ratbastards like Mike Fitzpatrick. Some way to replace them. Too bad less that half the voting-eligible public bothers to register or to vote. And too bad many of those who do vote, vote against their own interests.
