Wow – great question. I ask it all the time. And great answer from montag. They do not care. They simply do not care. (They’re also idiots, but that’s not the main answer.)
See the problem’s in your premise. Thinking just doesn’t come into it. To parasite CEO’s, only today’s bottom line matters and to their conservative dupes . . . well thinking is an abhorrent practice, like empathy or selfless love.
