Georgia is in a “water war” with every surrounding state. There has been a heated water war between Georgia, Alabama and Florida for well over 25 years regarding the Chattahoochee River. When the Republicans got a choke hold of the State Government over 10 years ago, the Department of Natural Resources was changed from mostly scientists leading and recommending solutions to leaders from the “business community.” Well, you know, when that happened priorities shifted……
