He quotes from admin leaks to the NYTimes about changes, make that cuts and out-of-pocket cost increases Obama has planned to offer the Republicans. They’re based on wet dreams he told us about in 2011, with more detail back then, but it’s the same damn nightmare for Medicare recipients.
This is going to hurt and it is intended to be painful. Obama and his crew believe Medicare recipients are using too damn much health care and they want to force us to stop by making the deductibles and co-pays unaffordable for most of us.
Obama is not our friend, fer sure.

I’ve been sending increasingly strident and vociferous emails to my congresscritters opposing Barry’s Grand Sellout since August of last year. All I ever get back is a canned response saying how glad they are that I agree with their intention to “strengthen” social security and other programs. The fix is in. We’re toast. Obama is saying it right out loud, the NYT is running pieces explaining how rotten a deal this is, and nothing happens.
Remember when Josh Marshall organized his readers to poll their congresscritters on Bush’s SS “reform?” Now: crickets.
The only interesting question left is how the Obamabots will sell this betrayal to their followers.
I guess I’ve become too much of a cynic. I can’t even read whatever this is. I wish I could.
These WH house trial balloons haven’t made much of an appearance at all at TPM.
Even at DKos, Joan McCarter had a front page post on what Obama is after as revealed in the WSJ article Susie posted about and the NYTimes article.
