Speaking of the “Right People,” listening to MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell pontificate on Social Security and the correctness of Obama’s position in supporting chained-CPI is like listening to Sarah Palin talk about geopolitics. What vacuous and convoluted dialectics. There is no defensible or rational argument to be made by anyone in support of enacting chained-CPI into law. Even by the 1% to each other.
Aww Imho, it’s the same rationale that makes the “carried interest rule” for hedge fund tycoons fly. And remember that the chained CPI would be unfair to veterans, so they are exempt too. “Some pigs are more equal than others.”
Obama did exempt Vets? Because initially they were included….
Better lobbying? or just more proficient with weapons and tactics?
