  1. Progressives are not wealthy enough or politically strong enough to take a chance on Blue Dogs. She did not run as a progressive. Anybody who donated to her is a fool.

  2. At some point all of us must learn that politicians are not liberal or conservative or Republicans or Democrats. They are careerists. They are in the game to make their personal fortunes. They will take any position and say whatever they must to get elected and stay elected. Bernie Sanders is–not–a politician. Elizebeth Warren is–not–a politician. Hillary and Bill Clinton–are–politicians. Please note the difference.

  3. Great point Imhotep. The corporate/.01% take-over of the government, its watchdog agencies and regulatory bodies, the courts and Congress is all indicative of the erosion to collapse of democracy due to built-in human error. While the entire US history from violent start to end has been an exercise in wanton pollution, degradation and abandonment of the environment, over-consumption on every front, and the triumph of personal willful hubris over reasoned constraints and concern for the whole, we’ve all gone along for the ride via being born into captivity and believing in complete delusion.
