Well, the deal is they aren’t doing it for us to watch on TV. The majority really are doing it for science and other people’s safety. Being from KS, I have an interest in all things tornado, so I follow these guys a lot. This guy Samaras really was one of the safest, most professional of the bunch. He didn’t take chances, so it was really a shock to see that his crew caught it. This wasn’t a case of ‘the wrong place at the wrong time.’ The storm behave in a way that the professionals didn’t foresee and mother nature doesn’t cut you any slack.
