  1. Scahill ‘did’ get Colbert to admit that he (Colbert) should hail a cab and get out of Dodge in the end. Not that that would have done him much good with an armed drone flying around overhead.

  2. I wasn’t a big fan of Scahill’s Blackwater expose. The ratio of research to polemic was unpersuasive. Dirty Wars is meticulously developed, spartan on polemic, almost over researched and shocking. If you want to understand why Obama belongs in the docket of the Hague along side Dick Cheney, you should read this tome.
