  1. Texas. The same third world dictatorship that, just last week, was reported to have stripped a child from its family (for pot non-coincidentally) so it could be murdered by the state’s for profit foster care system.

    Congress Critters may bemoan this as unintended, unforeseeable consequences of a law intended to help”fighj” the “War on Drugs,” but, as we’re beginning to see the plans more clearly, it probably was a well considered and planned for consequence. At least by the Corporatists.

    But, still, wow. Apparently most attorneys are completely ignorant about the reach of this law and how it must be carefully fought against. They just don’t know how to deal with this law, per the article.

    Adding, it’s a rich man’s world. Or rich woman’s, but mostly, still, rich man’s world.

  3. We call it getting pulled over for “driving while brown” in Georgia. I see it nearly everyday, people standing by their cars while the authorities ransack cars and belongings. And it is nearly always someone of color….
