This happened to me when I was a kid! Parents of the other kids were annoyed that I kept winning, but the librarian stuck up for me. What can I say? It was the only thing I was good at. Terrible at Double Dutch, jacks, etc.

You could start a petition at Change.org. It might mortify this cloistered little board that 100,000 people know that they made asses of themselves.
