Jordan and the Fascist Koch brother driven Republican Party are half right. Sequester has cut the military’s spending by billions of dollars. That’s a good thing. Cutting food aid and other social welfare programs is a very. very bad thing. For that these evil Libertarian and T-bag geniuses will burn in hell. But, what they really want is the destruction of Social Security and Medicare. That will not happen.
In a sane world, we would cut our military budget by half the first year, and then by half of that again the second year. Then we’d be about right.
But it’s not a sane world, and I am having trouble identifying any mechanism other than the sequester where we actually get some reduction in military budgeting.
