Except when you take into account that his opponent was certifiably insane. 44% of New Jersyites voted for the insane person over Booker. Now that must say something about the people living in New Jersey who know Booker better than the rest of us do? And we wonder why we don’t have a functioning government.

Much of that 44% was cast by racists, Teabaggers, and/or diehard Rethugs.
And his strongest showings were in counties on the Atlantic coast (Ocean, Monmouth, Cape May, et al.), where millions of dollars in Sandy aid was provided by a responsive Demo administration — goes to show you how stupid and ungrateful Rethug voters are.
