He’s a Dominionist, and they’ll stop at nothing:
“In a sermon last year at an Irving, Texas, megachurch that helped elect Ted Cruz to the United States Senate, Cruz’ father Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as “kings” to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the “Seven Mountains” mandate, and “bring the spoils of war to the priests”, thus helping to bring about a prophesied “great transfer of wealth”, from the “wicked” to righteous gentile believers.”
H/t Tony Munter.

All of that is just Biblical nonsense meant to explain and justify to the “common folk” why it’s OK for the 1% to be rich and the rest of us to be poor. It’s God’s plan. Sarah Palin is another one of these Evangelical Capitalists as well. And Marco Rubio. They’re not all that dangerous. But the Koch brothers who fund these lunatic “true believers” are. Those are the guys who need to be reeducation.
And is being viewed as the next Uncle Ronnie by his party. HELP US find a candidate that can knock this idiot’s ass! Hillary? Probably not.
Hillary and the right wing of the Democratic Party are probably helping to fund Cruz’s presidential run. If he wins the Republican nomination even a dolt like Hillary could win the presidency. Sad. Very, very sad.
Yup – crazy religious beliefs have no place in our politics:

That’s quite a racket. “I come in God’s name to take everything you have and transfer it to more deserving gentile believers”.
Great.
That’s not exactly what I would call democracy in action. But I guess the idea is to destroy democracy to help pave the way for the “King of Glory” since if the King starts his reign there can’t be any political competition, like a republic or a democracy, can there?
