In response to a letter from Sen. Chuck Grassley, the FBI says the FBI wasn’t surveilling the Tsarnaevs.
It’s a very odd statement to make, and it seems to leave a lot of wiggle room for other agencies, doesn’t it?

If and when you become a U.S. intelligence asset you will never live to tell about it. 1) The Russian’s told the U.S. that the ‘Brothers’ needed to be watched. One was shot to death in the street. The other survived 50 bullets being fired into the boat that he was hiding in. Somehow. 2) Al-Awlaki was an American citizen who fled to Yemen and was killed by a drone. So was his 16 year old son. Why did al-Awalki turn against his handlers shortly after 9-11? It’s known that he had contact with at least 4 of the hijackers prior to 9-11. 3) Maulvi Jalaluddin Haqqani the leader of the Haqqani Network in Afghanistan/Pakistan was known as a longtime CIA asset. Shortly after the escape of bin Laden from Tora Bora, Haqqani turned against the U.S and came after us with a vengence. Why? Late last year a drone strike killed him.
