  1. Ms. Madrak, the answer to your question is contained in the article about the differences between deBlasio and Warren.

“…In the same way that Middle America believed government was mostly benefiting the undeserving poor in the 1980s and early 90s, today they believe it mostly benefits undeserving rich and powerful. And, just as Democrats had to dispel the former belief before they could advance the rest of their agenda, today they must dispel the latter…”

About 70% of today’s elected Democrats identify with the interests of Corporate America. People want a government that will help straighten out the extreme and unfair differences between rich and poor – and not just dollar differences, either. People know there are huge differences in the way the 1% are treated under the law compared to everyone else.

Dispel the notion that government favors the wealthy? The government does favor the wealthy, and the vast majority of elected “Democrats” have no interest in dispelling that “notion”. Most elected Democrats want to keep on pleasing the wealthy, and have similar outlooks as the wealthy on the rest of the scruffy population.

That is why there is no outrage among elected Democrats. The problems of average people are not their problems. Most elected Democrats are far too caught up in the exciting game of “World Dominion Wealth Pump”.

  2. Yeah, what he (russ) said. So stop asking yourself the question already. I have.

My question is, why do very bright, knowledgeable and politically astute bloggers keep supporting a Democratic party that has proven it is useless at best. At worst it is more dangerous than the other party because it continues to message a progressive agenda while actively working against one (some individual members of Congress to the contrary notwithstanding.) At least Republicans are relatively open about their lack of humanity and their attraction to fascist corporatism.

The Democrat party draws potential energy away from a movement for real radical reform that is the only hope for us 99.9%.

  3. I don’t have the time or energy for outrage anymore. I just go straight to hair on fire, Celtic vengeance tier rage.
