The political class and the 1% (Hannity is a member of both of those groups) do not want Obama to talk about income inequality anymore. They want him to talk only about opportunities. That’s because the 1% is really starting to feel the heat . 80% of the new wealth created by increased worker productivity in the last 25 years has gone to the 1%. In that same period the average wages for workers have declined by 5%. The 1% is under so much pressure that some of them (Perkins) are starting to lose their minds . They are calling Progressives “Nazis.” They are saying that just like the “Jews in Germany” the 1% is being singled out as “scapegoats.” Hannity’s response to his paranoia about what the Progressives are really up to is to flee the scene of his crimes before he’s slapped into irons.
