We’re supposed to get an ice/slush storm early tomorrow morning, three inches for rush hour traffic.
I can’t tell you the havoc this is wreaking on our local municipal budgets. We’ve now had, I think, three times more snow than average — and it’s only the first week of February. Sure, sometimes they get FEMA reimbursement, but they have to declare a state of emergency to be eligible.
Meanwhile, California is baking without needed rain. Oy.
