Made in the U.S.A.

Because this sort of thing always works out so well, doesn’t it?

Islamic State fighters appear to be using captured US military issue arms and weapons supplied to moderate rebels in Syria by Saudi Arabia, according to a report published on Monday.

The study by the London-based small-arms research organisation Conflict Armament Research documented weapons seized by Kurdish forces from militants in Iraq and Syria over a 10-day period in July.

The report said the jihadists disposed of “significant quantities” of US-made small arms including M16 assault rifles and included photos showing the markings “Property of US Govt”.

It also found that anti-tank rockets used by IS in Syria were “identical to M79 rockets transferred by Saudi Arabia to forces operating under the Free Syrian Army umbrella in 2013″.

  1. The Middle East is now in stalemate. In order for there to be any resolution to this conflict, there is only one, all of the parties must align themselves with their “enemies” to succeed. Israel with Iran, Saudi Arabia with Assad’s Syria and so on. If they do that they will end up destroying themselves. Which is the goal of ISIS. But the real problem is how the Sunni’s and the Shiite’s must interact with each other. A coalition of Sunni and Shiite states must come together to destroy a Wahhabist Sunni ISIS. That coming together of Sunni and Shiite governments will spark a civil war in several of these countries. There is no solution to the war in the Middle East unless American foreign policy undergoes a dramatic transformation. The warmongers (neo-con, hawk, interventionist, Zionists) are doing everything in their power to see that that doesn’t happen. The day of the oligarchs is finished and a new dawn is on the horizon.
