Apparently Obama has decided to ask the Congress for approval to train the Syrian opposition forces. Hopefully Obama will tell all of us tomorrow night exactly where he proposes to train these forces. Syria is a sovereign country. We can’t just march our happy asses into Syria and begin training opposition forces. Can we? In the middle of a civil war? If we can train Syrian opposition forces is it OK for Russia to train Ukrainian opposition forces? Instead of making things better it appears that Obama is hell bent on making things much worse. Our Congress is worthless. Every man and woman of them.
Oh c’mom, IM, let’s not be naive !!!!! Since WW2 we’ve always understood that war is the name of the game; we understand that this country has been built on the premise that if we’re fighting some force somewhere in the world then we’re making money and so are the forces we’re fighting: peace is never an option in the economy Eisenhower/ MLK warned us about 65+ years ago. The Boogeyman lives on and will do so for the foreseeable future: try to leave something for your children if you can because future generations will only survive in this country if they can move into the 1% of the economy! There’s no where to run and no where to hide from the treachery……………..
