It no longer takes my address, which is on the eastern end of my street. Instead, it keeps putting me on the western side, which is halfway across the city.

This is just a warning from teh Google. Keep it up, and see what they’ll do next!
It started sucking a couple years ago. It now takes forever for it to load. And then if you want to zoom in or zoom out, that takes forever too. I guess it is too busy checking my browsing and search history and trying to find local businesses it wants to promote to me.
Consider your self lucky. Now the NSA will try to find you and be totally lost. Except of course for what you just told them.
