1. “You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.”

2. Didn’t miss us in eastern Ma. I was out shoveling about 8 AM, the wind was gale force with a wind chill of -2, ans drifts of four – five feet. Anything I cleared was quickly filled in.

3. When I was a little, tiny tot I was taught to never try to shovel snow when a gale force wind was blowing. To do so, they said, was an exercise in futility.
   Guess they were right.
