Singer Joni Mitchell was hospitalized on Tuesday after a 911 call was placed to her Los Angeles home, according to TMZ.
The site reports that the 71-year-old was taken into intensive care after a call for an unconscious female was made, but she reportedly was “alert” on the way to the hospital.
A rep for Mitchell and a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
