Funny how when the subject is police brutality, the R’s all want to change the conversation to one about poverty and welfare, (i.e. the poors’ own responsibility for being so stubbornly poor). Is this a new thing? Sounds like they want to draw liberals into making unpopular socialistic statements.
I guess they are partly right. If these black folks wanted to avoid police brutality, they should have thought about moving to better neighborhoods.
“Local problem solving”. Apparently police brutality is not the problem, it is the solution to the problem, so we should take the federal money from what’s left of welfare (I don’t even know what little is left of that) and use it for block grants to buy more tasers and tear gas.
