The sound of freedom

So we’re soaking in the hot tub, counting the number of F-18s flying over the hotel in the 100+ decibels range — which is something like a freight train crossed with an F5 tornado. There were over 40 of them in a little over an hour.

I read that a lot of the locals complain, but the wingnuts don’t — they call it “the sound of freedom.” Well, there you go. In an area where the tourist industry is dwarfed by the massive local military base, you have to expect this kind of thing.
