After Hillary Clinton clinched the necessary pledged delegates needed to win the nomination, Bernie Sanders told a raucous crowd in Santa Monica that he was going to fight hard to win the primary in DC, and continue until the convention so that he can fight for his ideals. He said that he had nice conversations with…

Let’s hope he congratulates Hillary and continues his fight on issues to be put forward in the party platform, not for the nomination (which is now, without any doubt whatsoever, out of reach).
What an angry self-centered little man. He’s ruining his legacy but refuses to listen to anyone warning him about that. Not qualified in any shape or form for POTUS.
I saw one of his surrogates last night whining about how the Clinton’s had a head-start on him somehow and that’s why he lost. As if Bernie hasn’t had a lifetime to make his own mark. Maybe if he hadn’t only picked races against women….
Did he REALLY call Hillary and congratulate her? This is the first I’ve read of that.
If he did, I’d be glad to hear it. Although, the custom is to get out in PUBLIC and congratulate the victor (victress?) on the win, as soon as the results are in.
Maybe he just needed some time. At 74, one often does.
