I made the mistake of watching Morning Joe yesterday, and the Bullshit Twins were speaking in awestruck voices about how Condi Rice and Bob Gates (former CIA director and former SecDefense) endorsed Exxon chief Rex Tillerson as Trump’s secretary of state.
I thought that was… odd. Right? I mean, do they really think no actual diplomacy skill is required? It seemed like a big deal.
Well! As it turns out, John Aravois points out that Rex is a client of Condi and Bob’s consulting firm RiceHadleyGates. And Condi didn’t even mention that in her endorsement. (Gates did.)
Just so you know.
Condi was a straight shooter. Remember, …”we don’t want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud.” Also, her (fluent) Russian is lousy, jury out on “concert level pianist.” And when nobody at State could find her, she was usually out buying $1000 boots.
Sure, you can count on her to her to reveal any potential or actual conflict of interest.

So Putin’s Sec of State, being appointed by Putin’s Man in the White House, pays for his recommendations. It’d be interesting to see who else is a ‘client’ of RiceHadleyGates, don’t ya think? And BTW, how many of her emails were on a non-authorized system? Oh that’s right. We’ll never know because of the millions of emails ‘lost’ buy the Bush Crime Family. But, it doesn’t matter, it wasn’t on Twitter.
