I honestly hate to be “that guy”……I appreciate the sentiment expressed and sure, it’s fine. Not feeling good, do something fun and make yourself feel better.
But…..Coco Chanel was a Nazi collaborator, notorious anti-Semite, and the lover of a Nazi officer. She actively assisted the Third Reich and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Final Solution.
To the extent she is remembered at all today it should be for that – not some lighthearted saying about lipstick.
