My house is pretty much furnished with second-hand everything – even kitchenware. Thrift and flea market vintage retro. A lot of times people discard stuff just because they don’t know how to clean it properly. Bonus – a lot of that stuff was made better (manufactured here not overseas). Glass bakeware from 50s and 60s is much higher quality than now.
I hardly have anything new. I even buy used shoes and clothing! And yes, the clothing is much better quality.
